Town Twinning Presentation Piece

This presentation piece was commissioned to commemorate the twinning of Cannock in the UK with Datteln in Germany. The piece combined embossed imagery from both towns and sandblasted text and symbols.

Snooker Club Trophies

Using snooker imagery, four different trophies were designed to account for different winners of a local tournament. Glass balls, both red and clear, were handmade in the kiln, and placed within the triangle. The winners' names and categories were then sandblasted onto each bespoke trophy.

'Local Heroes' Awards

These awards were made in collaboration with a mental health rehabilitation group, Chase Designs. In group sessions we developed ideas for the awards and explored test samples to give the group an understanding of the techniques involved. The final designs featured images of nature from Cannock Chase, a place where participants would visit to feel calm, relaxed and inspired.

Mike Cooke Award

This bespoke, handmade award was cast into a pyramid mould and the text sandblasted onto the base. Jaqueline worked, again, with Chase Designs to produce a unique trophy commissioned by the Chief Executive of the local primary care trust.
