I was given no specific requirements as to what the final piece should be or represent. I considered the historical aspects of the surrounding area before deciding upon a purely aesthetic design.

The design shows a leaf pattern symbolising the four seasons. Starting in Winter at the top, the leaves wend their way towards Autumn at the bottom, changing colour and direction as they go.

The final piece was constructed from six anodised aluminium panels, each a photographic image of an original glass art panel created in a smaller scale.

The dimensions of the art work are:
Height: 8.5 metres
Width: 80 cms
